Happy New Year 2018

Happy New Year!!!

As much as I love the concept of New Year and New begininngs... I'm trying to stay away from any major goal setting today. I know, I know. Party pooper.

I regularly plan throughout the year. I have goals, missions and plans that already exist. I'm going to continue on my journey, take time to rest and pray that God will show me what's next.

Do what feels right for you. Don't get caught up in setting a bunch of goals you know you won't chase after. Goals that look great on paper. Be real with yourself. Love yourself. Set realistic goals and remember that life is tough. You will get where you are going as long as you keep pushing. It may just take a little longer than you would like. Be real, my friends!

After 20 years of dieting, frustration, self-confidence and body image issues, I found myself as a contestant in a transformation contest. I stepped on stage in a bikini and dark tan and won 5th place. Walked off stage, started eating, and gained 50 pounds in a year. I felt so defeated, lost, miserable, and out of control.
